On Monday, April 28, we hosted our first-ever College Night at Elevate Life Church. More than 30 incredible volunteers helped create a welcoming, high-energy environment where athletes from across our area came together to worship on the last week of school.
We heard six beautiful testimonies from student-athletes from UNF, JU & TBC. Each one a bold and honest reflection of God’s work in their lives. This event marked a major milestone for our ministry, bringing together college athletes and coaches in unity and faith, and setting the stage for even greater impact in the seasons ahead.
Payton Lauer was baptized, surrounded by her parents, teammates, and friends. The baptism was led by our FCA staff — Derek, Morgan, and Hayley — who each have played an important role in the growing faith of Payton and her teammates.
Sean Johannesen and Kendall Bryan, student-athletes with the UNF Cheer team, were baptized in April surrounded by her parents, cheer teammates, and friends. The baptism was led by our FCA staff — Derek Reeves—who had each walked alongside Sean & Kendall in their faith journey.
