I would be lying to you if I said my first memory of that day wasn’t about how cold the water was but when I truly sit and think on it, I remember how sweet the moment was.
That moment wasn’t about me or Hallie , or about all the families and teammates who came to support, (even though all those things were awesome) but it was all about how God‘s glory was shown, how Jesus saves, and how no matter what season of life you are in God holds us in his hands.
Hallie was going through a rough time even on the day of her baptism, but that showed all the more that Jesus wins every time. He will always prevail over weakness, sadness, failures, disappointment, and any trial we face. Unlike the circumstances we face, which are always changing, our Father in Heaven is constant and He conquered death so that we may have life! Thank you Jesus.
To Hallie, my fellow sister in Christ, my heart fills with joy when I think of you. Thank you for blessing me with this honor. I will never forget this special moment we share. I Love you Big Time!
